HISTORY OF THE CLUB AND MAIN WINNERS FROM THE OPEN SHOWS The club was first formed on October 19th 1986. It gained Kennel Club recognition on January 12th 1988. The First A.G.M. was held at the Rutland Angler, in Oakham, near Leicester. The first Open show was held at Cotesmore also in Leicestershire. Judge was Mr Paul Stannard. Best in Show went to Barrie and Brenda Jones' Kojak Kavalkade. Reserve Best in Show and also Best Puppy in Show was Alan and Janet Knowles' Kojak Korona of Jhanchi Best in Show Reserve Best In Show & Best Puppy in Show Open Show May 13th 1989 Judge Mr Ron Carter.
